Lavonte David, Leonard Fournette Among Key Questionables For Sunday Matchup Against Eagles

Key linebacker Lavonte David and starting running back Leonard Fournette are considered "game-time decisions" to play in Sunday's Wildcard matchup against the Eagles, head coach Bruce Arians told reporters Friday.

The ProFootballDocs believe both players will be active for the game, but their effectiveness will likely be limited.

The two key cogs in last year's Super Bowl run are on Injured Reserve, Fournette with a hamstring strain and David with a foot injury.

Fournette suffered a proximal hamstring strain Week 15 and missed the last three games of the season. There is no way his hamstring is fully healed, thus he carries a high reinjury risk if he plays.

This is a significant blow to the Tampa Bay offense as Fournette finished third in receptions by running backs. He also ran for 812 yards and 8 touchdowns this season.

David, the 31-year-old lifelong Buccaneer, injured his left foot in the loss to New Orleans Week 15 and also missed the final three games of the season.

Few details have emerged about David's foot injury, but it could hamper his ability to cover sideline to sideline.

His run stopping ability shouldn't be affected, but he could have a tough time covering star Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert.
