Lazard Undergoes Core Muscle Surgery, Season Not Over

The worst case scenario has happened here. It wasn't just MRI scans, Lazard was sent to the core muscle specialist which usually means surgery and alas surgery was performed. Given the early time frame his season is not done, but Lazard will miss at least six weeks, and won't be be 100% until several weeks after. With Davante Adams nursing a hamstring issue still this is a significant blow to the offense, and Marquez Valdez Darrius Shepard and Malik Taylor are the next men up. These are the only 3 receivers at 100% on this roster, so a roster move is possible.
