A gruesome looking elbow dislocation type injury ended his 2019 season in Week 10. This is the second time in four years he has has finished the year on injured reserve since joining the Bears. In 2016, Trevathan suffered a patella tendon dislocation and while playing for Broncos, he underwent a cadaver allograft type procedure. The knee is the bigger worry despite the recent elbow injury and it is likely teams will want an in person physical before signing as there are concerns for his health long term.
