The top Texas Tech linebacker, Jordyn Brooks, had a couple of shoulder labrum surgeries during his collegiate career. In 2017, Brooks underwent right shoulder surgery and last season he underwent another labrum surgery that knocked him out for the remainder of the season. Brooks was able to finish the season with 20 tackles for loss and 108 tackles. There should be a very minimal downgrade to his draft value going into Thursday. Expect Brooks to drop to the fourth or fifth round but could provide potential as an every down linebacker in the future.
