Troy Dye suffered a meniscus tear along with a torn thumb ligament 2019 but somehow managed 84 tackles and 2.5 sacks from the inside linebacker position. Dye played through his thumb fracture and knee injury before having surgery on the knee after his collegiate career ended. Assuming the medical on his knee checks out, there should be a minimal downgrade in terms of his draft status and the University of Oregon product has shown he is a tackling machine with almost 400 tackles in college. Expect Dye to go in the third or fourth round and at 6’4” should help in pass coverage.
