LeBron James and Anthony Davis are each questionable for Tuesday's absolute must-win game against the Suns.
James missed Sunday's loss with what the ProBaketballDocs described as a “significant” sprained left ankle, his 4th absence in the last 6 games. Anthony Davis played in his 2nd straight game since returning from a severe right foot sprain, but appeared to aggravate the injury early in Sunday's contest.
Davis has said he is dealing with significant pain in returning, and the Docs maintain that he would not be ready to contribute fully until the playoffs.
The Lakers, 31-47, have lost 6 in a row and 23 of their last 30 games and have not won 2 games in a row since Jan. 7. 2 of their last 6 losses came against the Pelicans, who have jumped them in the Western Conference standings.
James, who leads the NBA with 30.1 points per game, needs to play in 2 more games to qualify for the NBA's scoring title.
