LeBron James Misses 10th Game of Season Tuesday Vs. Bucks

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James missed his 10th game of the season Tuesday against the Milwaukee Bucks with left ankle peroneal tendinopathy.

Tuesday’s game will mark his first absence since March 8, when he missed a separate matchup against the Bucks with the same ailment. The Lakers won that game by one point thanks to a 44-point performance by guard D’Angelo Russell.

James, 39, missed three games in February including two consecutive games on either end of the All-Star break.

He could return as soon as Wednesday against the Grizzlies as this is just maintenance to keep him fresh for the stretch run.

The four-time MVP played 38 minutes Sunday night in a five-point win over the Indiana Pacers. He finished the game with 26 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds and shot 8-19 (42.1%) from the field including 2 of 4 from 3-point range.

James is averaging 25.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 8.1 assists this season while shooting 53% from the field and 40.6% from 3-point range.
