Lebron James will miss his second straight contest Tuesday night in an absolute must-win game against the Phoenix Suns.
James has now missed four of five games since suffering a left ankle sprain March 27 against the Pelicans.
The Lakers have lost six straight, including when James rested his knee against the 76ers and the game when the 37-year-old suffered the ankle sprain.
Los Angeles sits in 11th place and are two games behind the Spurs with four left to play. The Spurs also have the tiebreaker, meaning the Lakers essentially need to win three of the next four and San Antonio needs to lose every game.
Anthony Davis is questionable for the game with his foot injury. He has scored 23 and 28 in the two games he's played since returning.
Malik Monk, Carmelo Anthony and Stanley Johnson will fill the extra minutes left by James' absence.
The Lakers are 13.5-point underdogs on the road and the over/under is 231.5, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
