Sam Tevi, the Indianapolis Colts new left tackle, suffered a significant left knee injury in the preseason game on Friday. By our video analysis, it appears consistent with an ACL tear. This would end his season with surgery, and provide a big hole for the Colts at left tackle. LT Eric Fisher was signed from the Kansas City Chiefs, but as we have previously analyzed, will not be ready until late season. Tevi would have been the Colts starter for the majority of this season, and now they will have to look to LT Will Holden to fill the void. The Colts offensive line has traditionally been a strength but now with the left tackle issues, and LG Quenten Nelson coming off a bone excision surgery in his foot, it seems to be an area of weakness going into the 2021 season.

Update  9:19AM (PAC) - Tevi has a reported ACL tear and will miss the 2021 season.
