Our fears for over the last month have come true for the Dallas Cowboys linebacker. Indeed he will need surgery on his neck. The good news is this should not affect his career or his season next year. If this became a situation where he needed repeated neck surgery that indeed could be career threatening but this one should not be. There may indeed be an indirect relationship with his neck injury from college where there is less room for error when there is a disc bulge or herniation.
