McCoy is apparently a healthy scratch for the week 10 game against the Titans. There is some news that this decision was "predetermined" and that the Chiefs want a fresh McCoy down the stretch. However, given the timing, this is an interesting move in my eyes. Kansas City has a week 12 bye which is in two weeks. Sitting him earlier in the year and spacing out his rest might have been the original plan but perhaps the Mahomes injury changed that timing. We will continue to monitor the situation. Keep in mind, if there is an injury here, the Chiefs will be investigated and likely fined by the league.
