The Jets star running back was initially questionable and now he’s been downgraded to out. Bell had an illness this week and typically it gets resolved by Sunday, but given the timing and the season’s circumstances it make sense for him to sit. Some focus on the importance of week 14 as the beginning of fantasy playoffs, but players and teams especially those out of the playoffs, focus more on big picture. This creates unusual circumstances. My best guess, if this was a meaningful game, Bell would play. However, the Jets are well out of the playoff picture and there is no reason to force Bell to play at less than 100%.
