Lions DE Romeo Okwara Suffers Achilles Injury, Potentially Season-Ending

Lions defensive end Romeo Okwara reportedly suffered an Achilles injury in the Week 4 loss to the Bears. Okwara left the game after getting injured on a pass rush with just over two minutes left in the first quarter. We reviewed video of the play, but the injury happened off screen and no replays were immediately available. After the game, head coach Dan Campbell said Okwara has an Achilles injury that "does not look good." The worry is Okwara ruptured his Achilles and will require season-ending surgery. If that is the case, it would be the second defender the Lions have lost to an Achilles injury.
