Alex Anzalone, the Lions starting inside linebacker, suffered a right ankle injury against the Broncos. By video, Anzalone was rolled up by a fellow defender and appeared to suffer a high ankle sprain.
Anzalone limped to the locker room and we don't expect him to return to the game. Josh Woods will likely take over at left inside linebacker. The injury-addled Lions face the Cardinals next Sunday.
