Lions running back David Montgomery left the Week 7 game against the Vikings late in the first quarter due to a left knee injury.
By limited video Montgomery suffered a contusion or a mild PCL injury when he was tackled on a short run.
Montgomery was then seen on the sidelines using an exercise bike which is a good sign this is not the end of this day.
As expected in the second quarter, Montgomery returned.
