Logan Thomas Placed On IR With Hamstring Injury

Washington tight end Logan Thomas was placed on IR Wednesday with a right hamstring injury. He suffered the injury Week 4 when he took a misstep while trying to block. Thomas will miss at least the team's next three games and will be eligible to return Week 8 against the Broncos. Ricky Seals-Jones will start at tight end and Washington has rookies John Bates and Sammie Reyes to back him up. The team also signed Jace Sternberger off Seattle's practice squad Wednesday.
