Quarterbacks - Jared Goff played through a severely injured thumb in a heroic effort, but had to sit out Week 17 as the fracture healed. John Wolford was slated to start over him in the Wild Card, but went down early with a neck injury and Goff came in the game. He could well have been limited, and they didn't have him put it up that much as he went 9 of 19 for 155 yards and a score, but is expected to start this week regardless.

John Wolford made his first NFL start in the playoffs last week, but went down early in the game with a neck injury. He is unlikely to hold the QB2 spot this week, and we believe Blake Bortles will be the backup moving forward.

Running Backs - Cam Akers missed Weeks 3 and 4 with a rib injury to start the year, but is now dealing with an ankle injury. Akers played Week 17 and although Malcolm Brown is more than capable of filling the lead back role, Akers returned in time for the Wild Card and put up 176 yards from scrimmage and a score.

Darrell Henderson injured his ankle on a goal line run in Week 16, and it appeared to be quite severe as his foot was trapped in the dirt. He has been placed on injured reserve since, and it will fall to Malcolm Brown and Cam Akers to carry the load.

Wide Receivers - Cooper Kupp tested positive for COVID ahead of Week 17, and did not play in the regular season finale. He has returned for the playoffs, and had a good showing versus Seattle.

Offensive Lineman - Andrew Whitworth, the Rams’ veteran left tackle suffered an MCL injury in Week 10. He has been healing up on injured reserve, but is looking primed to return for the playoffs, and while Joe Noteboom has been filling in, they will be fortunate to have Whitworth back. His 21 day practice window has been opened, and a return to the practice field is a positive sign.

Defensive Lineman - Aaron Donald was forced out of the Wild Card game versus Seattle with a ribs injury, and while Sean McVay said he is day-to-day, Donald has a good chance to return this week.

Linebackers - Leonard Floyd had no injury designation earlier in the week, but was taken to the hospital on Friday for abdominal pain. It is unclear what caused this, but the health of one of the team’s best pass rushers is in question. The team will have to hope it is a minor issue that will not interfere with his availability for the playoffs.

Defensive Lineman - A’Shawn Robinson missed the first half of the season on the NFI list while dealing with a cardiovascular condition. He has been slowly brought along, and while he is not a featured piece of this front currently, he does serve as valuable depth.

Safeties - The Rams have taken some hits at safety this year and both Taylor Rapp (knee) and Terrell Burgess (ankle) are on injured reserve at season’s end. Jordan Fuller is in at strong safety, and while he has done well down the stretch, he did miss 4 games early in the year with shoulder and neck issues.
