The Ravens second year linebacker was shot in the calf Sunday night by a stray bullet. Harrison has been placed on the non football injury list and thankfully, the injury does not appear to be severe and there does not appear to be any nerve, artery or bone involvement. It appears to just involve the calf muscle as Harrison is already back in Baltimore recovering. We certainly would expect him to miss a few games but the absence will likely be short term. A stray bullet in the calf not hitting any vital structures is likely a one month absence but it is amazing to see the linebacker escaped major harm.
