Mario Addison Suffers Shoulder Injury, Will Potentially Be Available For Divisional Round

Bills defensive lineman Mario Addison was ruled questionable to return after suffering a shoulder injury in the third quarter tonight.

Addison appears to suffer a potential right shoulder subluxation – when the ball of the humerus shifts in its socket – while attempting to tackle Kendrick Bourne with 6:41 left in the 3rd quarter.

The 34-year-old will not return tonight, but with some advance treatment on his shoulder, he should be available for Buffalo later in the playoffs. While we cannot say if he can recover by next weekend, we also can't rule him out. The potential extra day of rest certainly won't hurt for the backup defensive end.

Addison has not made an appearance on the injury report all season. He has been as consistent and durable as they come, playing in 149 of a possible 155 regular season and playoff games since 2013.

In 17 games, Addison has tallied 7 sacks, 8 TFL, and 2 forced fumble this season.
