Marlon Humphrey, the Ravens No. 1 corner, suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will miss the rest of the season. The 25-year-old attempted to tackle Steelers wideout Diontae Johnson at the start of the fourth quarter, then remained on the ground holding his right shoulder/chest area. The injury mechanism was consistent with a pectoral tendon tear and head coach John Harbaugh said after the game that he expected Humphrey to miss significant time with a shoulder injury.
Fellow cornerback Marcus Peters is out for the season with a torn ACL, leaving Baltimore down their top two corners for the remainder of the season. The 8-4 Ravens face the 6-6 Browns next Sunday and Cleveland is coming off a bye week.
