The 49ers running back left in the second half of the game and was minimally productive with 25 total scrimmage yards. There is word that he is seeking a second opinion on his left ankle. He came into the game with some ankle issues recently and last season had left ankle issues as well. In the past he has always defied the odds and returned to play effectively. It seems that he will do so again this week unless doctors or the 49ers decide to shut him down to get him to allow him to get fully healthy. Amazingly in the past he's been very productive playing through injury.
