The New York Guardians starting quarterback Matt McGloin suffered an injury and has been benched for back-up Marquise Williams. By video, it appears McGloin has anterior rib soreness from when the ball was stuck in his side after being sacked by a Battlehawks defender. If the rib injury was serious he would have gone to locker room and had an xray immediately. It would not be surprising if he came back in at some point. As we have seen at this point in the XFL season, if you are not at 100% health you will be rotated out of lineup. He has yet to come out the locker-room after halftime as he is being evaluated for said rib injury suffered in first half.
