Matt Ryan injured his right ankle and was in the medical tent being taped up for apparent return before heading to the locker room. He has been officially ruled out. The Falcons quarterback was sacked by Aaron Donald and the defensive tackle rolled up on Ryan's right ankle. By video, he has suffered a right high ankle sprain on his back plant leg. There are different degrees of sprain. Patrick Mahomes suffered this in Week 1 and continued to play including aggravation in Week 5 and 6. We need to await further word but Ryan could easily miss next week as well.
