The Lions have ruled out Stafford for the second straight week. This time, they did it well before kickoff. He did not practice all week and this move was anticipated. However, even with the broken back, his season is not over. Transverse process fractures are certainly painful, but are not dangerous to play with. Stafford will be the Lions Thanksgiving day starter, and possibly before that.
