As expected, Matt Stafford is throwing at practice, given his thumb ulnar collateral ligament sprain. Since it is a partial tear, he will not need surgery like Drew Brees did and will be able to play through. We have expected him to play through this and have no accuracy or downfield issues. He did finish the second half strongly in week. 10. We expect him to be the starter for the Lions this week, and be effective versus the Panthers.
