Matthew Stafford Takes Big Hit To Sternum, Returns After Missing One Play

Matthew Stafford, the Rams starting quarterback, took a massive hit to the chest against the Jaguars, but returned after missing one play. By video, pass rusher Roy Robertson-Harris lowered his helmet and hit Stafford right in the sternum. The former Lions quarterback remained down on the field, then walked off and returned after one play. Stafford is as tough as they come, but his chest health is something to watch going forward.

The Rams are down two starting lineman, with center Brian Allen and left guard David Edwards questionable to return.
