The Panthers’ star running back will be out for at least the next three weeks as he nurses an ankle injury. While we did not see the specific play it occurred on, we saw him taping up his ankle in an attempt to return, and it seems this issue has worsened. Injury reserve is no longer the sentence it used to be, and he will likely be back soon, but fantasy owners will have to look for a replacement for the near future. Mike Davis is an option as he is likely to fill the lead back role until McCaffrey is able to return.
