Broncos starting running back Melvin Gordon will likely miss the Sunday night matchup against the Chiefs with a hip injury. He was injured in the first quarter last week against the Chargers, but finished the game. Upon the initial injury, we had worries about his ability to finish the contest. His absence from practice means the hip has swelled, but we are not worried he will miss more than 1-2 games.
Rookie running back Javonte Williams will take over the running back duties and has performed well this season. Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater missed time last week with a leg contusion, but didn't miss practice time this week.
