Michael Gallup Injures Ankle In Season Opener, Severity Likely Minor

Michael Gallup, the Cowboys slot wide receiver, appears to have rolled his ankle in the beginning of the second quarter. By video, he appears to have a mild inversion ankle sprain. He was listed as questionable to return but has his helmet off which indicates his day is done. It does not seem like a significant injury where he will miss multiple weeks. At this point, the belief is he can play Week 2 if they swelling isn't to severe.
