It turns out the Cowboys wide receiver injury was more than a thigh contusion. The hit to the thigh caused a torque on the knee that tore his meniscus. He will need arthroscopic surgery and could miss two to four weeks. Gallup should make a strong return and avoid IR. The trim of the cartilage leads to quicker recovery than if sutures were needed.
