Michael Pittman Jr. Suffered Compartment Syndrome In Calf

Compartment syndrome is a serious condition in which too much bleeding into a confined space can cut off microcirculation and compress nerves. Luckily it seems that the Colts rookie wideout caught this early and Pittman was operated on quickly last night to relieve the pressure. While severe cases are life threatening, this is not one of those cases and Pittman could be back after six games with a return after their bye a likely scenario.
