Mike Purcell Out for Year With Lisfranc Injury

Broncos nose tackle Mike Purcell had just secured a 3 year, $14 Million extension this season before going down in Sunday's loss to KC. Coach Vic Fangio confirmed that he will unfortunately be out for the season after suffering a Lisfranc injury and will likely require surgery. This is just one more hit for the beleaguered Denver Front 7 that has already lost Von Miller and Jurrell Casey, and now Shelby Harris and Bradley Chubb are the last men standing in this unit's starting lineup. The Broncos depth along the line has been tested heavily this year, but the returns of Dre'Mont Jones and Demarcus Walker off IR will help compensate for this loss.
