The Chargers breakout wide receiver has logged DNPs heading into the Chargers Week 6 matchup with the Ravens. Early in the fourth quarter of the Week 5 contest versus the Browns, a defender rolls up on Williams' right leg. He appears to jam his right knee but came in just a few plays later and even caught a 42-yard touchdown pass. On the TD completion, he seems to favor his right knee as he crosses the end zone. Williams hops to avoid landing on the right side and you can see a slight hitch in his stride. He did finish the Week 5 contest but is now not practicing which is a question mark heading into Week 6. He missed one game with a bone bruise on the same right knee back in 2017. It remains to be seen if he can play in Week 6 versus the Washington Football Team, but at this point we believe there is concern for potential repeat bone bruise, where he would miss some time. We will monitor him going forward as we inch closer to game-day.
