Eagles star running back Miles Sanders appeared to injured his right ankle on a catch early in the fourth quarter against the Jets. By video, Sanders had his right ankle landed on by Jets linebacker C.J. Mosley. We didn't see a specific injury mechanism and we don't think its anything the bye week won't fix. He's unlikely to return to the game because the Eagles were up 33-18 with 9 minutes left when he was injured. Sanders missed Week 8 through 10 with a sprain on the same right ankle, but his injury Sunday does not appear to be a reaggravation.
The Eagles should get quarterback Jalen Hurts and third-string rusher Jordan Howard back after the bye too.
Update
Sanders was ruled out for the game, but we don't think his injury was significant. He should be good to go after the bye week.
