Miles Sanders, the 24-year-old Eagles running back, was limited in practice for the second straight day Thursday.
The ProFootballDocs believe he will play Sunday against the Buccaneers and should play effectively in his first game since suffering a broken right hand in Week 16.
Sanders may face potential issues with ball security and pass protection, but should have no problem getting reacclimated.
The third-year running back finished the regular season with 754 rushing yards and 158 receiving yards, but did not find the end zone.
Backup running back Jordan Howard is not listed on the injury report this week, but does have a history of stinger injuries.
Howard was knocked out of Week 17 with a stinger and did not play Week 18. He is likely one wrong hit away from an extended absence.
The 27-year-old played 7 games this season, finishing with 406 yards and three touchdowns.
Fourth-year running back Boston Scott and rookie Kenneth Gainwell Jr. are options out of the backfield as well.
