The Bucks - 88.8 enter Saturday night's matinee against the Warriors on a 6-game wining streak.
The last time they played Stephen Curry and co. on Jan. 13, Milwaukee jumped out to a 37-point lead in the 2nd quarter, winning the game 118-99.
Their offense has been utterly dominant since the all-star break, scoring 127 points a game on 25.9 assists and 43.7% shooting in the last 7 gams.
The defense, however, has struggled over that same span, allowing 116.4 points and 26.4 assists per contest.
Milwaukee remains without 3 key rotation pieces that they have missed for the last month or more.
Brook Lopez and Pat Connaughton are each nearing returns from their various surgeries, while George Hill has been out since January 28 with a neck injury.
Wings Jordan Nwora and Wesley Matthews have absorbed the minutes and field goal attempts left by Connaughton and Hill, while new addition Serge Ibaka have stepped in defensively.
Bobby Portis scored 20 points and 7 rebounds on 4-7 shooting from 3 when these 2 teams squared off.
The responsibility of this team however remains almost solely on their big three, who have been dominant on the floor together, posting a 30-8 record with a 12.5 net rating and 105.20 pace in 621 minutes.
The Warriors - 85.4, have won two games in a row, rebounding from a brutal game stretch as they await the returns of Draymond Green and James Wiseman next week.
They have won both games on the strength of the newly implemented offensive lineup of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Jordan Poole, which is posting a 39.1 net rating in 62 minutes over the last 15 games.
Golden State will remain without 3 key defensive wings, which will prove challenging against the long and strong Bucks.
Gary Payton II will miss his 5th straight game with left knee soreness, Otto Porter Jr. will miss his fourth Street game with general illness, and Andre Iguodala will miss his 22nd of 2 games with back tightness.
Rookies Moses Moody and Jonathan Kuminga have been ardent contributors in each of the last two games. Kuminga scored 18 points on seven of 12 shooting in Thursday’s win in Denver.
Poole has been hyper-efficient on Saturday’s this season, averaging 16.1 points on .474/.409/.944 shootings splits.
Potential Plays:
Bobby Portis O16.5 Points - The versatile center has played extremely well with Brooke Lopez sidelined and should continue to stretch the floor with his three point shooting
Bucks -2 - The defending champs go into the primetime matchup the heather squad and have been playing well, should cover the meager 2 point spread
