Mike Hughes was recently put on injured reserve for a neck issue and now Mackenzie Alexander has undergone surgery. Alexander missed last week‘s game in New Orleans. Reports indicate a small lateral meniscus tear for Alexander. A picture he posted showed a drain was placed in his right knee. Typically drains are not used for simple knee scopes. Given the drain and timing of the surgery, even if the Vikings win he will not be back for the Conference Championship game. Even if the Vikings make it to the Super Bowl, his chances to play are iffy.
