Joe Mixon's mystery foot injury has landed him on IR. It is still possible to return after three weeks but we are starting to believe his season may well be over. It could be a lingering Lisfranc injury, and if this is the case the team would be wise to sit him. They are out of playoff contention, and their rookie franchise quarterback suffered a season ending injury Week 11. It may be the wise thing to just sit Mixon and evaluate their young talent around the roster for the rest of the season.
