This was not a surprise, but rather an expected outcome. The whole point of sitting out Cook vs the Packers in week 16 was to get him rest for the playoffs. With the sixth seed cemented Vikings will continue to rest him and his shoulder/SC joint should be close to 100% for the wild-card round. Teammate Alexander Mattison is questionable and could play, but I would also expect the Vikings to exercise caution here. It’s a meaningless week 17 encounter the Bears
