Browns star edge rusher Myles Garrett suffered an apparent right groin injury in the third quarter of their Monday afternoon game versus the Raiders.
By video, the 3-time pro-bowler appears to suffer the right groin strain while attempting to put pressure on Derek Carr. He limped off the field holding his groin and went into the blue medical tent before returning to the game.
It is difficult to determine the severity of a muscle injury on replay, but Garrett appears very much affected by the injury. Groins can hinder a rusher's ability to use all their moves, especially when moving side-to-side.
We will find out more when he undergoes tests after the game.
Heading into tonight's game – which was postponed two days because of a COVID-19 outbreak in Cleveland's locker room – Garrett was tied for second in the NFL with 15 sacks.
