Golden State Warriors (#3 Seed) Team Health Score 91.4
Steph Curry is back in the starting lineup and the Warriors are healthy at the right time. Klay Thompson has ramped up well and shows almost no ill effects of his long term absence. Veteran Andre Iguodala missed a game last series, but will likely be fully available against the Grizzlies.
Memphis Grizzlies (#2 Seed) Team Health Score 88.5
Memphis comes in as one of the healthiest teams remaining in the bracket. Steven Adams is in health and safety protocols, but was used sparingly in the series against Minnesota. He may miss the first game or two, but he likely wasn’t set for increased playing time against the Warriors deadly small ball lineup. The league’s most improved player, Ja Morant, dealt with a knee injury in March, but he’s fully healthy now.
Phoenix Suns (#1 Seed) Team Health Score 87.6
Devin Booker’s hamstring is not fully healthy and may not be before the end of the semi-finals. He can serve as a spot-up shooter, but the Suns will have to adjust their offense to set him up away from the ball. Chris Paul has a sensational Game 6 and hasn’t shown any downgrade from his left hand injury in Game 4.
Dallas Mavericks (#4 Seed) 87.1
Luka Doncic looks to be back to his old self after missing the first half of the Jazz series with a left calf strain. Tim Hardaway Jr. remains out with his foot injury, but Spencer Dinwiddie and Jalen Brunson have taken huge steps forward for the Mavs.
Boston Celtics (#2 Seed) Team Health Score 86.3
Boston’s main health concerns come in Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams. Brown grabbed at his hamstring at several points late in the Game 5 win over the Nets, but has said he expects to play in Game 1 against the Bucks. The Pro Basketball Docs also expect him to play, but at less than 100%. The standout Celtics center beat projections and returned early from his meniscus trim surgery. He is still working his way to full health, but could reach that point by mid-series.
Miami Heat (#1 Seed) Team Health Score 80.3
Jimmy Butler missed one game with right knee inflammation, but it should be a non-issue against his former team. Kyle Lowry’s hamstring issue will likely linger early in the series against Philadelphia. It remains to be seen if he will miss any games, but at the very least he'll have limited mobility on defense. His injury happened just over a week ago, thus he should be near full health before the end of the series.
Milwaukee Bucks (#3 Seed) Team Health Score 78
The loss of Khris Middleton will have a ripple effect on the series and throughout the team. Milwaukee played well to close out the Bulls, but someone will have to guard Jayson Tatum. Pat Connaughton will likely have to step up on defense, while Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo shoulder the offensive burden. There’s still an outside chance at Middleton returning late in the series, but he will be limited.
Philadelphia 76ers (#4 Seed) Team Health Score 68.6
Embiid’s absence will be felt severely by a 76ers team who relies on him on both ends of the court. The Philadelphia big man is likely to miss the entire series, but has an outside chance to return in a potential Game 6 or Game 7. James Harden, Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris will have to step up their play on both ends to force that scenario.
