In Partnership with Steve Fezzik - @FezzikSports on X

Famous sports bettor Steve Fezzik and injury analysis experts at SICscore.com are partnering throughout the season to provide deeper insights into how injuries and game dynamics affect betting outcomes. As a test of this collaboration, we are focusing on the upcoming matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Atlanta Falcons, exploring why we're leaning towards the under in this game based on injuries and strategic tendencies.

One major factor influencing the under is Russell Wilson's performance. Wilson appears to be past his prime, showing signs of decline, and is also dealing with a lingering calf issue. This injury will likely limit his mobility and explosiveness, hampering the Falcons' offensive potential. A less mobile Wilson will make it harder for Atlanta to extend plays and generate significant offensive output.

Additionally, both Pittsburgh and Atlanta have conservative head coaches who are unlikely to take risks in critical situations, such as going for it on fourth and short. This cautious approach will likely slow the pace of the game and lead to more punting, contributing to a lower-scoring outcome.

Pittsburgh's offensive line is also banged up, which will impact their ability to protect the quarterback and open up running lanes. On top of that, running back Jaylen Warren, who has been more dynamic than Najee Harris recently, is dealing with an injury. His absence or limited effectiveness will further reduce Pittsburgh's offensive efficiency, making it even more difficult for them to score.

For these reasons, coupled with injury concerns and conservative coaching styles, we lean towards the under for the Steelers-Falcons game.
