By using the health advantages from Sports Injury Central field views, last year this feature was 51-15-4 (+16 against the spread) in our five weekly regular season picks mimicking the Circa and Westgate Superbook contests.
Our Week 2 picks finished a meager 2-3 giving our picks a .500 5-5 start to the 2023 season.
One win is already in the books with San Francisco -10. That was placed and written about in response to the Giants key injuries that happened Week 2 and lingered into Thursday.
Here are the other four to complete the week.

All it took is one QB injury to show that the Jets roster was built flimsy and now the consequences are live. Zach Wilson looks as inept as he ever has which has grinded the Jets offense to a halt. Star RB Breece Hall is nowhere near 100% leaving the Jets without a proper run and pass game. Adding insult to injury is Duane Brown who was playing at less than 100% (shoulder) is out. Expect mastermind Bill Belechick to confuse the hapless Jets offense all night and cover the small spread.
Detroit is going into Week 3 with additional injuries that has put them in a category as one of the worst score drops or negative deltas going from Week 2 to 3. David Montgomery, Halapoulivaati Vatai, C.J. Gardner-Johnson and James Houston all played last week but will be sidelined greatly affecting both sides of the ball. Wideouts Amon St. Brown and Josh Reynolds will not be 100% due to injury. +3.5 is a great number but the Falcons have enough of an advantage to win outright.
Even before the start of Week 1 the Texans have had OL issues and this continues into Week 3. Left tackle Laremy Tunsil will miss his second straight game due to a knee injury which makes him the fourth OL starter out. This will effect the offense specifically the run game which is something a healthy Jaguars defense should exploit. New injury to the defense DB Derek Stingley is a big loss heading into Week 3.
Weak offenses effected by injury headline this NFL matchup. Packers stars Aaron Jones and Christian Watson are dealing with hamstring issues and are 50/50 to play - if they suit up they will likely be ineffective. Saints will be rocking with their third string RB in his first career game (hamstring) which spells trouble against a healthy Green Bay run defense. Both offenses should struggle to get points on the board Sunday.
