The Week 4 Monday Night Football showdown between the Miami Dolphins and the Tennessee Titans promises a compelling contest as both teams look to turn around their seasons. The Dolphins, currently 1-2, will try to bounce back from their recent struggles and even their record at Hard Rock Stadium. Meanwhile, the winless Titans, sitting at 0-3, are desperate for their first victory of the season. With both teams dealing with injuries, the Dolphins turning to Tyler Huntley as quarterback, and the Titans looking to overcome their offensive challenges, this matchup could be pivotal for both squads in their 2024 campaigns.
The Titans field a clean bill of health on offense but the concern is the performance of Will Levis.
Defensively the Titans picked up new injuries last week with star DL Jefferey Simmons nursing an elbow injury is listed as doubtful and CB Chidobe Awuzie is out multiple weeks with a groin injury - if Simmons misses would be massive blow to defense.
Has been listed as Doubtful for MNF with an elbow injury, he has missed some practice time with this injury leading to the designation
Has been placed on the list due to the groin injury he suffered in last Sunday’s loss to the Packers, he will miss at least the next four games
There will be another change at QB in Miami with Tyler Huntley taking over duties. LT could be an issue with Terron Armstead in concussion protocol.
Defensively issues remain as there is no pass rush with Bradley Chubb on IR and Jalean Phillips operating at less than a 100% and CB Kendall Fuller is in concussion protocol. The Offensive Line and pass defense and rush big concerns this Week as they have been all year for Miami.
Injured early in Week 1 and missed Week 2 & 3 with a chest injury. Mostert was limited in practice on Saturday heading into Week 4 versus the Titans and is unlikely to play.
Has been ruled out for the Week 4 matchup Monday night vs the Titans with a concussion that he sustained in Week 3, this is the 12th game he has missed since joining Miami in 2022
Has been on a snap count in recent games after making a quick recovery from last November's Achilles tear. Our analysis remains that he will likely struggle to produce despite being left off the injury report
Unlikely to play in the Week 4 game against the Titans due to a hamstring injury he suffered in Week 3 against the Seahawks.
Has been ruled out for the Week 4 matchup Monday night vs the Titans with a concussion that he sustained in Week 3
The Titans have a significant health advantage on both sides of the field. We expect Will Levis to take advantage of the Dolphins injuries but play it safer with his throws to avoid more turnovers.
