Thursday Night Football in Week 6 presents a pivotal NFC West showdown as the San Francisco 49ers travel to face the Seattle Seahawks.
The 49ers, sitting at 2-3 and winless in the division, are under pressure to turn their season around after a rough start. Meanwhile, the Seahawks, with playoff aspirations of their own, will look to capitalize on home-field advantage to gain a crucial division victory.
Injuries and key matchups will play a significant role, as both teams fight for the valuable division win. Listed below are key injury insights for each team.
Suffered a partial triceps tear Sunday and now is likely out for the rest of the season as the injury will require surgery, limiting the depth of the 49ers defensive line
Dre Greenlaw LB
Unfortunately, he suffered a torn Achilles during the Super Bowl on February 11, 2024. Although there was hope for him to be ready for the season, he is currently on the PUP list and may need to miss at least the first four games of the season.
Missed Week 5 with a calf injury and on a short week will miss TNF vs the Seahawks.
Hufanga suffered torn ligaments in his wrist during the Week 5 game and will be out at least a month.
Brown was limited in practice on Tuesday due to an ankle injury but is expected to play Week 6 versus the Seahawks.
Exited Sunday's game early with a thigh injury and did not return, with their next game being TNF against the 49ers, he has been ruled out, he previously missed Weeks 1-4 with a knee injury.
Boye Mafe LB
Mafe was a full participant in practice on Tuesday and Wednesday heading into Week 6 after missing the past two games with a knee injury.

Kenneth Walker III is another week healthier from an oblique injury and we expect him to take advantage of the health mismatch between the Seahawks Run Offense (89.9 SIC health score rating) compared to the 49ers Run Defense (66.3 SIC health score rating)
