Bosa made a speedier recovery than expected from a preseason high ankle sprain. He rushed back and returned at what seemed to be less than 100%. Bosa looked good and even posted his first career sack. By video review, on the last play by the 49ers defense, he appeared to re-aggravate his right high ankle sprain. The taped ankle is caught on a planted offensive lineman's foot and externally rotated, which is the direction of a high ankle injury. He appears to fall down then walk with a hitch in his step. Now comes the second straight "Did not practice." Even if he can return to practice this week, it seems likely Bosa will need 1-2 weeks to get fully healthy.
