Nick Mullens’ elbow was injured as he was hit by Demarcus Lawrence and was relieved by CJ Beathard for the rest of the game. His arm was coming forward at full steam when it was stopped, and it was an elbow ulnar collateral ligament sprain to his throwing arm that ended his day. We expect him to miss time, and with two games left in the season it could be CJ Bethard’s job for the rest of 2020 with Jimmy Garoppolo shut down.
