The Patriots first round draft pick was placed on injured reserve this preseason. He was listed with an ankle injury. However by video, our thought all along has been a turf toe injury. There did not appear to be major structural damage, but the injured reserve status kept him out for a minimum of eight games. Harry seems to be progressing well and he's two weeks into his 21-day practice window. This week the Patriots will have to decide to either activate him to the 53-man roster or keep him on injured reserve for the rest of the season. Coach Bill Belichick indicated that team evaluations would need to take place and this make sense. Only two players can come off the IR. The Pats are already eyeing a return of left tackle Isaiah Wynn, who also suffered a turf toe injury. With 13 players on injured reserve and the recent acquisition of wide receiver Mohamed Sanu, the roster decisions come into play as much as health itself. In any case it is decision time for the Pats.
