The Patriots wide receiver injured his left shoulder in the New England Patriots second preseason game. Harry was seen post-game with a sling on his left arm. Of course, no other details were released by the team. By video on a deep pass, Harry lands on his left shoulder causing the ball to be jarred loose. This appears to be a left shoulder AC joint sprain and we doubt there is any clavicle or other fracture as associated X-rays would have been taken at the stadium. At this point, Harry should miss several weeks but it’s possible for him to play Week 1 with an injection. The worry though, is how many targets he will get and how effective he will be after not practicing. One also has to worry about his relationship with the coach, which apparently has been smoothed over although he did request a trade last week. Long term, we have more worry for the relationship between the receiver and head coach that we do for the left shoulder, but short term the left shoulder is a concern, especially with missing reps.
