Noah Fant, the Broncos starting tight end, has missed the last three practices. However, his head coach has said he expects Fant to be ready to play Week 1. Fant played 21 snaps in the second preseason game, but will not play this week. The lower leg injury remains unclear and there is no clear video. Certainly, every head coach expects their key starters to play, but this seems far from a guarantee. Even if Fant does play, the question remains if he will be at 100%. We will continue to gather information and look for video and beat reporting information to provide a more accurate prognosis on Fant’s lower leg injury.
